Environment:
Singapore's renown Papa Palheta specialty coffee has make its way into our city! Brought to you by the guys behind Chye Seng Huat Hardware and Loysel's Toy (and also their latest addition Coast and Company), these folks have been providing awesome coffee in the city-state down south, keeping the lion citizens awake and highly performed till this day.

Pulp is located behind the NSTP (New Straits Times Press) building in Bangsar, a standalone building which is previously a storage facility that belongs to the printing press factory next door. You will never guess that this is a cafe from the outside!
Pulp's view from the outside.
On the inside, there is a complete makeover with hardwood flooring and wall paneling. In the middle, there are 3 mobile counters: a cashier counter with cakes and pastries, a coffee roaster where the baristas do their magic, and coffee-making equipment on display.
A complete interior makeover with beautiful wooden panels.
There are more equipment on display in the showroom as well. Every equipment in this cafe/showroom are used in the making-coffee process except the large blue machine that has packet of coffee beans placed on top of it. No its not a coffee roaster, but a paper cutting machine, now repurposed into a coffee table. :)
Coffee-making equipment for sale.
So what's a pulp? Coffee pulp is the major portion of a coffee cherry, surrounding or 'protecting' the 2-seeded coffee beans inside. Despite being by-products of coffee production, this anatomical entity of a coffee cherry is high in protein and is used to produce animal feeds, substrate for growing mushrooms, compost, coffee fruit sugar, antioxidants, flavonoid compounds and many more.
Orchid-lar ~
Another meaning of a pulp is a mass of fibres derived from rags or wood used in paper-making. A cafe and coffee-gadget showroom that is located next to a printing press, Pulp is actually a smart name to adopt, and it rhymes with Papa Palheta too!

And by no means the Singaporeans are saying that they are passing us their coffee by-products, cause these are top-notch coffee! :)

Food & Beverage:
The usual espresso varieties are available here, with 2 different Papa Palheta's blends for you to choose from: Nuts+bolts and Throwback.

  1. Would really appreciate the place better if it has WIFI for people who would like to work in this quaint cafe.

Also would be better if it had its own washroom, instead of having to walk out to the other warehouse outside (in the rain).

  3. There are a few simple and basic ways to create harmed and gloomy floors that see unused and fresh. You won't indeed get to think approximately the tall cost of repairs and floor replacements. At our location, we’ve recorded down a few hardwood floor issues that you simply may confront and how to bargain with them.
