Front pouch of Wood & Steel.

Environment:
Modern furniture shopping paired with good Swedish meatballs, that's what Ikea Restaurant is famous for. But if you think nothing can top that, wait till you check out Wood & Steel!

First started off as a custom-made furniture line by creative designer Ierfan Azriff, he was soon joined by his younger brother Adam who came across the idea to combine this furniture line with coffee. Thus born this rare beauty of a cafe!
Ground floor.
From stools, coffee tables, and lightings; all the beautiful furniture that provide a more awesome experience for caffei-niacs to enjoy their cuppa, is for sale! If you are interested to purchase after having a feel of these furniture, just ask the friendly staff for the pricing :) That includes all the arts displayed around this cafe. FYI, there is another furniture retail - cum - cafe one row behind Wood & Steel, called Cafe Studio.

On a personal note, this cafe has large inverted logos of a consulting company I previously worked in. Can you guess which high performing company this is? :)
Giant inverted Accenture symbol on the wall :)
If the ground floor of Wood & Steel has already mesmerized you, wait till you explore the first floor. But first, enjoy some of the unique decorations on the stairways to the first floor :)
Even the stairway to the first floor is well-decorated.
Get ready to explore the first floor! Enter the stained-glass door to another room filled with more Wood & Steel custom-made furniture.
Welcome to the first floor.
There is also a coffee counter on the first floor too, with another set of coffee-making equipment to serve the caffei-niacs hanging out on this floor with freshly brewed goodness.
As pretty as the ground floor, if not better.
For those who prefer the outdoor air, there is also a separate section in this floor to get away from the air conditioner (besides the ground floor front pouch), or for those who wants to take a puff. Even this area is well-furnished :)
First floor balcony.
Besides the furniture and art, this cafe also promotes music culture by having open mic session every Friday night. On the day of my visit, the open mic session was organised by 2crank, featuring local upcoming artists and musicians.

Food & Beverage:
Ikea has its Swedish meatballs, what does Wood & Steel has? Brunch and coffee! Recommended ones are the chef's special Stuffed Chicken, and the Blanket Beef. Priced at RM 20 and RM 16 each, I personally feel that these dishes are very worth the price you pay for, if not under priced. It's THAT good ~
Blanket Beef (top) and Stuffed Chicken (bottom).
Freshly brewed usual espresso coffees are available, and with the addition of these beautiful furniture you are having your cuppa on (and intimate surroundings), won't you agree that coffee just taste nicer here? :) Share your experience by leaving a comment below ~
Latte (top left), Flat White (top right), Hot Chocolate (bottom left), Cappuccino (bottom right).

Verdict:
One of the most well-decorated and furnished cafe in the area, with delectable brunch and coffee. Those who are into live music should check out this beautiful cafe during Friday night's open mic session too.
