Environment:
Does owls like coffee? It is either that or after drinking coffee past 6 pm, you will literally be an owl, nocturnal and wide away at night. :)

Introducing The Owls Cafe, opened by a group of midnight oil burners who like to stay up late at night. One of the founders of this August 2014 newly open cafe is Thomas, whom used to be in the IT field, but has been an inspiring barista, brewing coffee at home using a lever espresso machine.

Located in the Bukit Jalil district known as The Link, The Owls Cafe has plenty parking spaces just right in front of it, though they are usually full during working hours. Glass windows at the front of this cafe portray a clear view of nearby Bukit Jalil's high rise living, including Arena Green, Green Avenue, Anjung Hijau, and Vista Komanwel.
Interested to learn how coffee wind up in your cup?
White walls and warm yellow lights keeps the environment looking clean and cozy at the same time. Owls figurines are placed around this cafe, and at a point I was hoping to see a live one. :P
Owls figurines everywhere!
Besides the owl mural, there is also a clearly documented process drawn on the wall, of how coffee ends up in your cup from a coffee farm to the hands of your trusty barista serving you your morning magic.

Food & Beverage:
All espresso based coffee are served here, powered by a Simonelli coffee machine, and also Thomas's manual espresso machine sitting on the sidelines (its the shiny silver one with a cool golden badge). There are also slow-brewed coffee equipment at the end of the counter. More interesting stuffs as they are still looking to bring in more variety of beans.

Flavored lattes are available too. Girls will love the rose latte - the sweet floral essence mixed with the goodness of espresso, and rose petals placed around the saucer heighten your senses with the sweet rose aroma.
Cappuccino (left), Espresso (middle), and Rose Latte (right).
Mille crepes, sponge cakes, croissants and macarons are available for savoring. Current favorites are the King Annas and Coco Chanel.

Since The Owls Cafe is still at their soft launch stage, do expect more improvements in their interior and food menu. Once their kitchen is fully operational, brunch will be served too, so stay tuned!

Verdict:
Cozy and comfy environment to hangout, with a pleasant view of Bukit Jalil surrounding. Come here for a cuppa joe to stay wide awake at night. :)
