Environment:
In the beginning the Choong brothers (Kar Wai and Kar Heng) started CoffeeSociété at Publika, and next Garage 51 in Bandar Sunway. After the ongoing success of these 2 cafes, the Choong brothers then decided to break away from the usual cafe standards for their next cafe, and that is when Underground Societe is born.
Large mirror at the back makes Underground Societe looks expansive.
Located few doors away from Garage 51,  Underground Societe is by no means anything alike. Garage 51 has an industrial-workshop concept, while Underground Societe has a classy, cozy feel to it, and it certainly doesn't look like a garage, as opposed to the units operating in this area. Wooden panels surround the wall, dim yellow lights keep the place minimally lit. And by nightfall, with the lack of sunlight penetrating through the front window, expect a romantic atmosphere in here.
Wooden panels surround the wall.
In other words, Garage 51 is where I will go to have coffee with my friends, while Underground Societe is where I will bring a girl for a date. Though, despite the food prices here being a tier above Garage 51's, Underground Societe is not to be considered a fine dining restaurant, but also a cafe (coffee prices are at par with the usual cafes), but with the addition of...
Blue neon squiggle - a statement of the Choong brothers' passion to venture beyond the norm.

Food & Beverage:
Alcoholic beverages (see above)! There's wines, champagne, beers, cocktails, coffee cocktails, and all the usual espresso-based coffee. Flavored lattes isn't interesting enough for you? There are Bailey's and Kahlua latte served here :)
Grilled slipper lobster Benedict with roasted pumpkin, poached eggs and Hollandaise on muffin.
Is the food here as classy as the interior? Yes, if not more. Besides the appetizers and sides (salad, soup, pizza), there are some dishes' availability which varies according to the time: Brunch or Lunch menu which is served from opening time till 6pm, and After Six menu which is available, after 6pm.
Coffee On Tap - cold brew coffee pumped with nitrogen (left) and Cappuccino (right).
For desserts, try their Underground Grenade! It's a mint flavored ice cream surrounded by marshmallow torched with flames, fueled using Sambuca ~
Underground Coffee with Baileys (left) and Underground Grenade (right).

Verdict:
Underground Societe - personally it feels like fine dining x bar x cafe. Certainly an interesting concept not conformed to the usual cafe trend, a good hangout spot throughout the day and night, opening till 2am daily (lucky Sunway University students, again). Fine food. Coffee. Alcohols. Coffee + alcohol mixed beverages.
